Berlin is a fantastic city that hides many wonderful stories and secrets of its people. Founded approximately in the early 13th century, this city was a witness to many historical facts that affected the rest of the world. We are talking about the Second World War and the Cold War. The six districts of Berlin
This city has a population of more than 4.5 million inhabitants and visitors. On the other hand Berlin is legitimately divided into 23 boroughs with their respective localities. Since 2001 all localities and boroughs are officially ordered in six districts as follows:
- Mitte (Mitte)
- City West (Schöneberg, Charlottenburg Tiergarten, Wilmersdorf)
- East Central (Prenzlauer Berg, Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg)
- North (Weißensee, Spandau, Reinickendorf, Pankow, Wedding)
- East (Lichtenberg, Marzahn, Hellersdorf, Hohenschönhausen)
- South (Steglitz, Neukölln, Zehlendorf, Tempelhof, Treptow, Köpenick)

Visiting the city and getting around Berlin can seem challenging and a little bit difficult at first, because Berlin has a vast territory. The public transportation in this city is one of the most modern in Europe, so it can be a good option getting around Berlin. Moreover, it has affordable prices and is pretty comfortable. Visitors only need a bus public ticket so as to visit the principal venues.
Berlin attractions
Today Berlin is a powerful city; it possesses spectacular constructions, big museums, historical squares, contemporary buildings and excellent universities that attract thousands of foreigners from different parts of the world. Berlin was considered for many years as a cultural center of Europe because of its educational institutions. This city has plenty of art and language schools which offer German courses throughout the city.
Berlin nightlife
Berlin is also known around the world for its active nightlife. Moreover it is actually considered as the happiest and liberal town in the globe. There foreigners can find a large number of funky bars, pubs, and techno clubs. The Mitte district includes some of the most visited clubs in Berlin such as King Kong Club, Weekend and Kaffee Burger, to mention but a few. To sum up, Berlin nightlife is very active and exciting.
