Asia is a spectacular continent having the most modern cities with traditional customs, as an example we can mention Shanghai and Beijing in China; Tokyo and Kobe in Japan and Seoul in South Korea. Even though traveling to Asia is quite expensive, plenty of people are visiting Asian countries every year. For example, taking a kobe trip or a Shanghai trip is very common for westerners. This is a new tendency that is gaining thousands of followers around the world nowadays. 

Shanghai, one of the most important places in Asia

Although Beijing is the capital of China, Shanghai is one of the most important places in the great Asian country. Shanghai is an international destination where people from different parts of the world gather together in order to make business deals. Shanghai is the perfect combination between ancient Asian culture and modern western technology because there are many skyscrapers and old shikumen streets throughout the city creating a cultural interchange.

One of the most important tourists destinations

In 1842 thanks to the treaty of Nanking, Shanghai opened its doors to many foreign markets. Later in 1930, the city flourished as a big commercial and financial city. For all these reasons, the City of Shanghai is now one of the most important tourists and business destinations around the world. 

 As we know, in the last decade China’s economy took off considerably and now is an important country having a good stability and a good participation in the world economy. Thanks to this improvement, the city has been receiving plenty of foreigners during the last years. 

The Shanghai weather

The Shanghai weather is very pleasant because the majority of the time is mild and moist. Shanghai possesses four seasons that combine perfectly with the cosmopolitan city. Visitors can find a lovely warm spring, a windy and relaxed autumn and a normal cold winter. However, there is a hard winter during July and August with 35°C (95 F°). The most recommendable time to visit the city is during the springtime from March to May.

Shanghai city has a large number of historical districts throughout the city. These districts are divided into two main groups, the first group called Puxi ((?? Puxi) and the second one called Pudon (?? Pudong).

Mandarin language course

As we know, Shanghai is the business center of China and many international companies go to this city so as to make business deals. In this fashion, foreigners need to take a basic Mandarin language course to do things properly. Foreigners have to bear in mind that studying Mandarin Chinese or any other Asian language is a little bit expensive; fortunately, there are many language schools online offering cheap Japanese, Korean and Chinese language courses.
