• Mt Etna: It’s one of the most important places for skiing near Rome, and the highest point of Sicily. The mountain offers over 1400 meters of winter vertical skiing.

• Abruzzo (Campo Imperatore): This region is located a few hours from Rome and includes 21 ski areas; the most important of them is Roccaraso.  

• Courmayeur Skiing: On the opposite side of Mont Blanc, this place has impressive views and challenging ski areas; and a beautiful village with all facilities for visitors.

• Cortina d’Ampezzo: One of the most exclusive resorts due to its prices; but it is worth the cost, the resort includes great facilities, beautiful scenery and a village with a museum, art gallery, movie theater, restaurants and more.

• Italian Dolomites: The impressive scenery of this region and its height makes it possible to enjoy skiing almost all year round.
