Luxor, Egypt

Luxor is one of major attractions in Egypt, the capital of Luxor Governorate, located in the south of Egypt the Nile Valley. The city was the dynastic and religious capital of Middle Kingdom and New Kingdom Egypt, as the ancient city of Thebes , Luxor is considered  as  the “world’s greatest open air museum” because of the several complexes, monuments, tombs and temples.

• The Valley of Kings is a valley in Egypt where Pharaohs and powerful nobles constructed their tombs. The valley is located on the west bank of the Nile. • The Valley of the Queens, the place for the wives of Pharaohs, but also many princes and princesses were also buried with various members of the nobility.

• Medinet Habu or the Mortuary Temple of Ramesses III, is located on the West Bank of Luxor.
