Kenya, a magical destination

Kenya is a magical destination, with a rich culture that can be traced to its first inhabitants, according to paleontologists it may be about 2 million years ago; however, Kenya is not only famous and visited by thousands of tourists each year due to its antiquity and history, it’s one of the best places on earth to get in contact with nature and enjoy of some of the less polluted beaches and coral reefs and several wildlife attractions that captivates some of the most adventurous tourists worldwide.

Kenya Location

Kenya is located in East Africa; it’s bordered by Tanzania to the South and Uganda to the west, by Sudan to the North West and by Ethiopia to the North. Due to its location, Kenya enjoys a great number of products, in which people base their courses; from the easier and simple ones such as the Chapatti that is made of Flour, salt and water to the more elaborate like the Matoke that comprises several small dishes.

Languages in Kenya

Kenya is a diverse country; you’ll find different communities with their own traditions and culture. Kenya was influenced in time by two cultures, mainly the Portuguese and then it was ruled by England, till Kenya independence from the United Kingdom in December 1963 as you can see in England history. That is the reason why people in Kenya have two official languages: Swahili and English; it’ll be helpful if you speak or at least understand one of those languages in Kenya, in fact if you didn’t you wouldn’t be able to read this article.

Kenya education 

Kenya education includes early childhood education, primary, secondary and college, and nowadays, it’s focused mainly in vocational subjects and the conservation of their culture including subjects oriented to their official languages: it means learning English as well as Swahili.
