The Catacombs in Egypt

The Catacombs Of Kom El Shoqafa are a collection of tombs arranged in a multi level labyrinth for a wealthy family initially, and include statues and archaeological objects. According to investigation, the tombs were introduced deep into the ground in little chapels, during the 2nd century, using a circular staircase and they are considered as the last existing major construction of old Egyptian Religion.

The Catacombs are a highlight very impressive, especially due to the details in each part of the construction; it was rediscovered accidentally in 1900 when a donkey-drawn cart fell into a pit.
