China, the most populated country in the world

China is the most populated country in the world and it is also the biggest in territory throughout Asia. This millenary country possesses one of the most important cultural heritages in this part of the globe. China was the first civilization with solid political structure throughout the 19th century. However, the country had many serious economic downturns due to civil wars and imperialism.  Nowadays, China is an important country in the world economy. The principal cities of China are Peking and Shanghai. 

Shanghai 

Shanghai is an interesting and amazing Chinese city, located in the eastern part of the country. Shanghai is an important city in China thanks to its fast growth during the last two decades. The Shanghai weather is quite interesting, really hot in summer and coldest in winter in December to February. In this fashion, the best time to visit Shanghai is in March and May. 

Currently, all the commercial transactions and business meetings take place in this fascinating and ancestral city. In addition, Shanghai possesses many historical landmarks that foreigners can find in the most magnificent museums of the city. We can mention the Yuyuan Garden, the Bund and the City God Temple just to name a few. People from different parts of the world visit Shanghai every year in order to attend some important business meetings, buy local products or handicrafts and explore Shanghai visiting the most representative landmarks and touristic sites of the city. 

Pekin

Also known as a Beijing, Pekin is a metropolis situated in northern of China. This Chinese city is considered the main cultural, political and educational city in the country. Its population was about 20,642,368 inhabitants in 2010.  Although Pekin is the capital of China, the most important economic city center is Shanghai. Nevertheless, as reported by the Britain Encyclopedia, Pekin is the most representative city having an important part of China’s history.

Pekin has an excellent climate. The spring and autumn are not really good seasons because there is a lot of dust and wind in the city. However, the summertime (June-August) is the best season to visit the city. In addition, people can see the weather of Pekin or any other city in China, by weather webcams on the internet. The weather webcams are pretty convenient for many tourists in order to help them choose the best city with the correct weather.   

China has amazing landscapes and beautiful sceneries throughout its territory thanks to the big variety of mountains, plateaus, rivers and hills. Foreigners can find ancestral monuments and many artistic buildings such as the Porcelain tower of Nanjing and the Great Wall of China. 

The Porcelain tower of Nanjing

The Porcelain tower of Nanjing is a beautiful and historical place situated in the south of Yangtze in Nanjing. This historical temple was built in the 15th century but was destroyed in the 19th century during the Taiping rebellion. This temple was discovered by a foreign visitor called Johan Nieuhof.  During the elaboration of the tower, Chinese designers used white porcelain bricks in order to reflect the sun’s rays in the day.
