Argentine history is taught in different schools in Argentina and worldwide dividing it into four groups: 

• Pre–Columbian time (Pre-Columbian time): The first inhabitants of Argentina came from the tribe Yamana who lived in the Patagonia, they were hunters traditionally
• Colonial Period: Spanish entered to the country in 1516, they found the tribe Querandi and Spain established a colony on the site of Buenos Aires in 1580
• Independence war (Post-colonial time): The new capital of viceroyalty was where the map of Argentina (Spanish: mapas de Argentina) marks Buenos Aires, but although the Spanish control of the colony, Buenos Aires formally declared independence from Spain on July 9, 1816; Gen. Jose de San Martin is consider a national hero because he campaigned the independence in Argentina, Chile, and Peru.
• After their independence, Argentines had a civil war between Unitarists (people from the capital of the new country) and Federalists (people from outside the capital) but after the conflict, the country could be stable again, the national unity was established and the constitution was promulgated.
• Modern Argentina: The period of modern Argentina is full of battles, development, reorganization and economic problems. All the history includes both success and failure of every one of the presidents of Argentina, which represents  the founding of the modern state.

Initially the tango started in the lower-class districts and it was danced in bars, cafes, gambling houses; that was why people in high society considered Tango as a vulgar dance. However, after the scattering of the dance through America and Europe, The Tango returned as a global hit. Argentina will always be recognized worldwide by the Tango, which is a complex dance and their national pride.
