The buildings of Dubai

The buildings of Dubai have many different architectural styles, newly modern designs with various details of Islamic architecture, due to a boom in construction and architectural innovation in the Arab World, Dubai has literally taken to new levels in skyscraper building design and technology. This emirate has a big number of skyscrapers, having the world’s tallest building with 828 meters (2,717 ft), the Burj Khalifa (Khalifa Tower), a building based on an abstracted version of the desert native flower of Dubai, Hymenocallis.

Another sample of the greatest infrastructure in Dubai is the Palm Island, an artificial archipelago palm tree-shaped, which the Dubai’s shoreline to a total of 520 kilometers. This amazing construction was created by Nakheel, a government company. Palm Island is the self-declared as a Eighth Wonder of the World.

The Dubai Fountain

The Dubai Fountain, another striking engineering wonder, consists of many high-pressure water jets and a shooter illuminated by 6,600 lights and 25 colored projectors designed by WET Design, Californian Company. It is 275 m (902 ft) long and shoots water 150 m (490 ft) into the air (equivalent to a 50-story building), accompanied by a range of classical to contemporary Arabic and world music.

The geniality of the engineers of Dubai, has created the most largest and incredible malls of the world. The Dubai mall is the largest in the world and has the most amazing fashion & jewelry stores, a SEGA indoor theme park, a 22-screen Cineplex, Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, Dubai Ice Rink. The Burjuman Mall, the oldest mall in Dubai, has the most high fashion of both the old and the new.  It is full of famous brands like Burberry, Salvatore Ferragamo, Ralph Lauren, Prada, Dior, Calvin Klein, DKNY and Cartier.
